Colon hydrotherapy is the cleansing process of the large intestine (colon). It begins by instilling purified water into the lower bowel through a disposable rectal nozzle. The water initiates natural peristalsis (movement) of the colon to eliminate waste.

Colon hydrotherapy is sometimes called a colonic or colon irrigation.

The Session

Linda Stearns, a certified colon hydrotherapist, attends and guides the client through the entire process, which lasts about 35 to 40 minutes. The client inserts the rectal nozzle, about the diameter of a pencil,  into his/her own rectum.  The client has control of the flow of water at all times.  During the session, the client continually reclines on a padded back rest, and waste is comfortably eliminated into the ergonomic basin.

The Angel of Water enables the client to maintain privacy and dignity at all times.
